Although MessageGears’ Autotrack feature allows all traffic to be tracked and redirected for the client, it may be desirable to inform MessageGears of recipient clicks rather than route them through a distinct tracking domain. For these scenarios, MessageGears has created the Event Attribution service, which produces and accepts information that may record events post-hoc.
Post-Hoc event attribution will work best for clients with AutoTrack turned off. Please speak to a member of Client Success for more information.
The time at which the request is submitted will be the time of the event in all MessageGears reporting.
Send MessageGears the same request information that would normally come along with a click - who it was that ‘clicked’ in the application, and where it came from.
